    Right so i know i really want a 9550 with the 4k, 16gb with at least a 256ssd.

Thats established but my dell epp quote with a 3 year nbd support on top comes out at £1610.

I know if i get the 9350 qhd package i can upgrade memory and will i be completely happt without going for that igzo panel in the 9550.

Or do i say forget all that just take it with the none touch screen.

I wont really be using it for gaming just like to have the latest spec and most of all super fast.

If you're NOT using this laptop for gaming, then either the Dell XPS 13 or 15 will do the job for you.

The Dell XPS 13 is much more portable, and has longer battery life. It's a weaker on processing power, to compensate for its higher battery life (about 6-8 hours).

The Dell XPS 15 is larger and more powerful. It has weaker battery life than the XPS 13, but still has very good battery life (about 4-5 hours).

Since you didn't mention "portability" in any of your posts, and you want something "super fast", this tells me that you really want a Dell XPS 15. So I'd say get a Dell XPS 15, with the higher-resolution n IGZO touchscreen (4K resolution). That display will look better for non-gaming application use, because of the sharpness and color accuracy.

Just so you know, you can't upgrade the memory on the 9350. What you purchase it with is what you get.

The 9550 is faster, hands down. I went from an i5 9550 to an i7 9530. The speed difference is noticeable in heavy multitasking. Geekbench on the i5 was like 3100 single/9500 multi. On the XPS 13 with the i7 6560u, it's 3100 single/6500 multi. The i7 HQ model will be even faster than that.

I do miss the 4k display and GeForce 960m as well.
Still, if you're taking it with you every day, the XPS 13 is far more portable.
