    How long does it normally take to build a xps 16 studio...? was just wondering its been in build from oct 21?

    Ugh online customizables are never reliable. There's no telling how long they'll stall to "build" your order. Could be 1 day, could be 3 months, and they're not really bound by any "maximum amount of time for delivery". I've known people who had to wait like 2 months for their order, and others who had to cancel their orders from indefinite delays. That's the reason why the sales are always online only.

    damn, everything ive read.. has been bad so far.. do they build through the weekend? ive read a few good reviews on there shipping hopefully i can be one of them!

    I actually ordered mine on Oct 10 with 7 day shipping selected, but received it on Oct 16, since I lucked out and the shipment center was only a one hour drive away from where I live. I'd say mine was in production for only 4 days, which is half of what they estimated.

    I ordered my sxps16 and INCLUDED overnight shipping request and it took just shy of 3weeks to get to me
