    What is the front indicator to the right of the WIFI light on the front of the Studio XPS? Mine never lights up.

    Looks like WiFi signal strength or battery life - mine never lights up either.

    It's a missile proximity warning light. Basically if your home has been targeted by missile and you're connected to the Internet, a signal is sent to your computer to activate the light. If it's on, you need to move.

    Mobile broadband is correct, if you have a wwan card attached and connected the indicator lights up.
