I keep seeing talk and read the thread about turbo memory reducing boot time in an m1330. Dell doesn't allow you to order a m1330 with turbo memory though. Why is this? Where would I buy it? In a system with 4gb of ram will it matter? I've seen mixed benchmarks.

    Uhm, LOL.
Go ahead and spend your money for something useless, but don't tell anyone about it :D

Turbo Memory for any system with at least 2 GB of RAM IS USELESS.

I have it installed and it's pretty much only good for increasing battery life. Mine went up by about 15 mins. In theory, you can't even measure the performance improvement as it's in ms. If you have a low memory machine...then you might see some real improvements...but then again, you probably shouldn't even have vista installed.

The Dell forum has quite a # or repetitive treads.
I wish people would start using the search function...
