I've had a Truemobile 2300 router (a Dell branded router) for years, and the wireless works great with my old laptop's wireless card.

I just got a new m1730, and the 4965AGN it has will not connect with my router. It can see it just fine on the network, and I've entered the security settings correctly, but it will not connect. I don't have any other routers to try the connectivity with.

I've tried setting the router to use WPA-TKIP, WPA-AES, and WEP encryption, but nothing will work. I even tried open with no password, and that didn't work.

    Any ideas?

Oh, I've also tried the intel recommendations on their website, but none of that power setting stuff worked either.
