Hi,
how can I install the generic intel driver on a L502x? If just try to install the exe it says its not validated and I should install the one from the vendor (Dell)...
The problem is the one Dell has are ancient and do not support all the features for WIDI.

Uninstall the current drivers through device manager and delete driver software. If your screen goes blank and stays blank, you will need to restart (into safe mode to be sure.)
After installing the generic drivers, the prompt shouldn't come up again since it's using Intel drivers.
FYI, I have been running generic drivers for about 6 months now with few problems.

Now it works, it installs the generic driver, but only version 15.10.2622 although I try to install the newest...

When you say you installed generic driver, do you mean this one from Intel site?:
Intel HD Graphics 3000 Win7_64_152612.exe
It's version 15.26.12.64.2761 (8.15.10.2761).
Intel HD generic driver
