    Dell XPS 15 L502X

When I clean installed I installed Intel Management Engine Interface 7.0.0.1144, A01, from Dell downloads. That version is over two years old.

Is a newer version available from Intel? I cannot find it on Intel's downloads site.
I updated the other Intel drivers and software, but cannot find any Intel download for this one.

Is a newer version available from Intel?
Or,does anyone know why not, why all we have is a two-year-old version from Dell?

Try looking in Windows update. I think I've seen that there before. And the reason why Dell still uses it is because theres nothing wrong with that version. Updating will probably make a negligible difference.

    Thank you for the reply.

No sign of it in my Windows Update.

That could be in this case, but that's not the reason why so many other drivers on Dell's site are so old. Dell tends to stop updating them after a relatively short period of time. Even when I bought my XPS 15, some of the drivers offered by Dell were a year or more older than newer updates from the component manufacturers. Currently Dell's offerings for XPS 15 are a couple of years and many versions behind for items such as graphics drivers.
