I've been reading/searching in the forum but haven't found a real answer.
I'd like to buy an Intel Turbo Memory 2GB but does it work in the M1530?
Has anybody got this installed successfully?

There are also contradicting reports from people, some say it speeds up others say it slows down the system. I'd like to see it for myself.
I just want to know if its supported.

Yes, it works if you are running Vista.

I read that the M1530 also works with a 4Gb card, so I ordered one from Office Depot for $65. I dont know if I will see any improvements, but I thought it was worth testing out. I'm planning on using a 4Gb SD card for the Ready Boost, then just using all 4Gb for the Turbo Drive function.

SD card slot is not good choice, because it is very slow one in XPS1530, my girlfriend's Asus Eee Pc has much better slot than mine..I bought 4GB very fast Panasonic card and was very disappointing, reinstalling and changing different drivers didn't change anything- it's just a slow device...so I am using now 16GB Sandisk Cruzer Contour USB as ReadyBoost and it's much faster than SD Card slot

The PCIE Turbo Memory cost me $65. I only spent $4.99 on the Sandisk Ultra II 4Gb SD card.
