I ordered XPS1645 at Dec. 1st.
But, I heard from the Dell's call center that my selected Intel 5300 is no longer available, so they will change Dell 1520 wifi.
In addition, they said that a Dell 1520 is brand new, and it will be different from older Dell 1520.
Is it true?
Is Dell 1520 wifi good comparing with Intel 5300?
Dell said me that I have no choice but Dell 1520 wifi because of obsolete of Intel 5300.
It's terrible...
Should I cancel my order?

If they do give you the Dell 1520 wifi card, make sure to ask for a reimbursement. Dell is currently charging $45 more for the Intel 5300. I do find it odd that the Dell rep said the 5300 is no longr available. Their website says there is only a 2 day delay period.
On a similar note, if you're not satisfied with the 1520 card, you could purchase the 5300 and upgrade it yourself. Just make sure it's the half-size mini-pcie variant like this one:

The 5300 is cheap, upgrade it yourself.
Ask for the money or a free upgrade or a free bag or something.
Intel WIFI 5300 is no longer available?
