    Is My hard drive faulty?

    I got my computer around july, and since day 1 at random times i hear a weird sound, it seems to be the hard drive, and when it happens, my computer seems to freeze for about a second. Is the hard drive perhaps faulty? I have the 7200 Seagate 500GB.
