    Is it possible to get a LG LCD for my M1730 from Dell Canada

    Of course they can't: dell is also a monitor seller. Why would they sell monitors from competitors?

    I talked to a tech support there and he said that he has one.
    There sooo cheap with their screens! :mad:

    I can't understand why are you so mad. I mean it's business.

    On the other hand, lg's screen are not that good, so it's not a big issue.

    dell's screens. :p yup. HP's screens are good too. Same for Samsung.

    I'm not saying that lg is not good. LG is also good. However, LG is not the best and if you can't get a LG, there are other interesting options around.

    Has anyone ever got a good quality samsung screen, and is samsung better then sharp?

    yeah man i was stuck in the same deal a few days back... samsung or sharp. i read more good things about samsung than the sharp.. but neither is as good as the lg.. ill see how my samsung is today when i get it

    I was told by dell that i have a sharp screen, but in the device manager it says that i have a Product ID : SEC5443
    I heard that was samsung?
    Are they right?
    Or am i right??

    You have no idea what you are talking about.

    He's talking about the LCD for his M1730, as he blatantly states in the title. The screen in the laptop. Dell doesn't put "dell LCD's" in their laptops, they put LG, Samsung, etc etc in their laptops.

    Anyways... You can try to when you call or order, but if the laptop is already ordered, you can not modify it.
