I still have 1 year of warranty +accidental protection for my laptop. And I see what my battery lost almost 30% of it's capacity.

    Is it covered ?

    Thanks Guys/Gals

The warranty on the battery is standard 1 Year.

    Here is some information. LINK

If you are having problems, contact Customer Care & advise your battery is failing since you are still w/in your one year warranty.

As far as I know, unless there is something seriously wrong, you can't get it replaced - but this depends on how lax Dell in your area is.

They will have to take the old one back.

Not sure about your area but I always keep my batteries and chargers. I have 3 or 4 chargers.

^^On my battery replacement, I had to return my defective battery w/in (10) days of receipt of the replacement battery, or Dell had the right to charge me for it.

Before they would ship me the replacement battery, I had to prove/explain to them why the battery was defective in the first place on my former XPS 1530. : )
