I had to return my L501x for service and they replaced the palmrest. When I got it back the new track pad was different and felt like it had a wax covering. I'm pretty sure the one I had last year wasn't like this and was wondering if anyone knows anything about the different types of track pads that Dell uses?

(I got the original a year ago so there might be a chance they are the same and I just forgot about it.)
