I was looking at my usual sources lately (BB and New Egg) + a couple where I live and have not seen one for a while. Anyone know if there are some still floating around, or are they pretty much gone now?

I suppose you mean the XPS M1330? If thats the case, you can still configure one at Dell.com, or alternatively you can purchase one at the Dell Outlet.

Still out there, though there's no way I'd buy one.

Any good recommendations for an alternative in about that size, up to 14 inch for under 1,000.00 street price.

You might like the Studio XPS 13. It's pretty much what Dell is replacing the M1330 with.

The M1330 has been discontinued. See the other thread going.

    Lenovo Y450 perhaps.

My outlet M1330 died after just a few days. I looked at the Studio XPS13 but saw that quite a few folks seems to be having similar heat issues (perhaps solved with latest BIOS as posted in a few threads). I decided to try the Lenovo Y450, which is comprable. It is heavier than the M1330, about the same weight as the StudioXPS13 and priced under $1K (up to $999 for the T7350/Nvidia 105M model).
