is the 720p WLED screen good?

    eg: is it bright?
    has it got good blacks?
    is it sharp and clear
    no graininess?
    etc..

its amazing, its super bright, and very sharp. unlike other people out there, im a big fan of the glossy. this type of monitor represents a new generation for laptop computers. it bright, sharp, clear, and great that it comes standard. i considered the rgbled only for a second. i could care less about the technology, i was more interested int he higher resolution. but i can think of why id want it smaller than what its at on my 720p.

mostly they tried to couple the rgbled and the bluray, and that is something i could care less about. i could count on one hand how many times in the last 3 years i played a real dvd in my computer, and not something downloaded. and im not making my laptop into a makeshift-vcr for a media system.

i work in graphic design, and i can say this - i wish my external monitor screen looked this good

    hope this helps owais!

    thanks for the info.

i also never have a dvd in my laptop/computer unless im installing a program :)
i download all my movies via torrents.

I also only thought about the RGBLED only because of the resolution but ended up thinking that its too much (£140) and it will make the text very small as its only a 16" laptop.

i will use my laptop for the internet, work and movies. although i wont be using blu rays so the screen res shouldnt make a big difference.
