I'm debating between a Dell XPS 12 and an Acer Aspire S7. Despite the Aspire having a 1440p display, I think the fact that the keyboard doesn't have any function keys is a dealbreaker for me as somewhat of a power-user. I have heard a ton of complaints on the XPS 12's trackpad and I want to see if those complaints are legitimate? The only Dell product I've ever owned is a Venue 8 Pro which has widespread touchscreen issues that make the device (in my opinion) nearly unusable without extreme annoyance. Dell also has never recognized the issue, which is very disconcerting. So, what have been your experiences? Is there any other major complaints I should know before making the final plunge? Thanks!

i personally have no issues with the track pad it takes some time to get used to the gestures i am still trying to remember lol.
but i don't have any problem with operation of the track pad touch pad itself.on my xps 12 -
It took me a while to customize it just right, but I like it.
When I first got it the older track pad drivers would sometimes crash and all my customizations were gone and went to some defaults. That seems to be fixed w/ the latest drivers.
I only have the 9Q33 (Haswell) model.
Is the XPS 12 trackpad that bad?
