Is the XPS15 keyboard similar/identical to an Inspiron keyboard?

I always like to try out keyboards of machines to see if I like the feel, but no brick-and-mortar stores around me sell the XPS 15. If I find a nicely-equipped Inspiron, would the keyboard be a good proxy for what the XPS keyboard feels like, or are they two entirely different units?

No, the XPS has an island keyboard, which is pretty nice by the way. The cheapo Dells seem to have some kind of cross between a "normal" spring loaded and a floating keyboard, like the Acer Timeline had.
I came from a Inspiron 1520 with a traditional spring loaded keyboard (very very good one) and have to say that the XPS15 has pretty decent keyboard even though it is a island design.

All right, good to know. I might try to swing by some store up in the Portland area next time I'm up there...I'm sure someone there sells the XPS 15.
