    Is there any reason why I SHOULDN'T uninstall dell support??

    What does the dell support software do? Is it the one that tells you which drivers you have installed etc?

    It can update drivers, etc. However, most of the time, it is a waste of system resources.

    Check the downloads page for your system regularly and you don't need it.

    I routinely uninstall PC vendor code from all new PCs. I have none on my current PC.

    quickset is just a good-enough application that doesnt get the boot(or rather got installed)... it shows up onscreen ur brightness level(when u do fn+arrow up/down), or battery(Fn+F3 or something).... just a useful application IMHO

    The Blue Buttons work without it; only the on-screen depends on it, and the on-screen is useless to me.
