    Core 2 Duo T9800 (2.93 GHz, 1066 MHz FSB, 6 MB L2 cache)
    4 GB DDR3 RAM
    320 GB 7200 RPM HDD
ATi Mobility Radeon HD 4670 (1 GB DDR3)
    1920x1080 16" RGBLED
Intel WiFi Link Ultimate N 5300 with MyWiFi
    Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR
    3-year warranty
    Blu-Ray

$2200 USD + shipping to Canada.

Is this worth it? I am particularly interested in the 4670 and was wondering if this is worth the money. I'll be selling my current SXPS 16 (exact same specs but ATi 3670). What price should I expect?

Ok, so you are willing to waste thousands of US dollars for a video card?

    Seriously?

By buying a new PC for 2,200 USD. Well, even if he manages to sell his "old" Xps for 1,000 USD, he would still have used 1,200 USD only for a new video card.

It would be smarter just to buy it seperately, and try to upgrade your XPS, Fred.

I bought my PC for $1700 USD plusshippig. I see lower end versions go for $1900 CAD on eBay.

I don't know how much CAD is worth, but man, it's still a stupid deal. If you really have money to burn, buy a new 4670 GPU from dell, and invest the rest of the money into stocks or something :).

It's only one component of the laptop. Plus a 100 USD upgrade for better graphics performance isn't too bad of deal.

He has a dell XPS. He wants to buy the exact same dell XPS only with a 4670, and sell the old. That's my point.

I also think if he buys a computer from the states the warranty from dell is not valid in canada
