    Got a genuine Dell Battery online.

    Was wondering if there is a way to ensure that this is genuine Dell.

    Bought for XPS M1530.

    If it has the Dell logo it typically means it's genuine. I've seen a lot of 3rd party batteries and they never have the Dell logo.

    I thought some sellers on ebay sold 3rd batteries with Dell Logo or maybe they were selling refurbished ones. Do not know for sure.

    Hoping that someone from Dell could run the Part/Serial Number and see if it comes up as a genuine battery.

    Can post pictures of the original battery that I got when I bought the notebook from Dell if that helps.
