I just ordered my Dell M1530. Did I choose a good general configuration? BTW, I got this for about $1,313.

    (PRODUCT) RED (PRODUCT) RED
    PROCESSOR Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor T9300 (2.5GHz/800Mhz FSB, 6MB Cache)
OPERATING SYSTEM Genuine Windows Vista ® Home Premium Edition SP1
LCD AND CAMERA High Resolution, glossy widescreen 15.4inch LCD (1440x900) & 2.0 MP
MEMORY 4GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz (2 Dimms)
HARD DRIVE Size: 250GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive
INTERNAL OPTICAL DRIVE Slot Load DVD+/-RW (DVD/CD read/write) edit
    VIDEO CARD 256MB NVIDIA® GeForce® 8600M GT
    WIRELESS CARDS Dell Wireless 1505 Wireless-N Mini-card
BLUETOOTH AND WIRELESS USB Dell Wireless 355 Bluetooth Internal (2.0+Enhanced Data Rate)
BATTERY OPTIONS 56 WHr 6-cell Lithium Ion Primary Battery
SOUND OPTIONS High Definition Audio 2.0

I would have put in the Intel wireless card, but that would have gone over my credit limit. Is the dell card good? Thanks to all who answer.

    That's a pretty good configuration.
The wireless card you picked out is fine and future proof ;)

I dunno much, just a newbie to the world of laptops, but it does look very fine! The specs are very much similar to the Inspiron 1420 I just ordered, actually, except my video card is the Nvidia 8400 M GS with 128 MB GDDR3 graphic memory. And my sound options are lousier. :( Ah well.

Thanks! I was really worried that the wireless card I got was below par.

I don't have EPP(I'm only in high school). And I got the standard one year warranty.
