Like people keep buying them and dell isn't even admitting it's a problem. I mean this is kinda serious because alot of people will buy this computer and have no idea. I know dell does this all the time but this is just wrong.

I have a core2 xps and it's fine but I just feel bad for all the people that have these issues.

I'm pretty sure Dell has acknowledged that there is a problem Most recently with the issuing of 130W Power Adapters combined with a bios revision to A07 in the Studio XPS 1645 Line,

Dell_Bill has also commented that they are aware of issues affecting the other models 1640/47 (to a lesser extent) and that they are working on other solutions. Same thing applies to the Alienware line of laptops experiencing issues.

Dell won't know there is a problem (or at least admit to one) unless there are complaints. These forums seem to be more than capable of raising complaints in order to garner results. (as previously seen).

So, that being said hopefully they show more action on the remaining issues. (and I know firsthand that the "fix" for the 1645's isn't perfect but its better than before)
