As I'm selling my computer, with the help of my girlfriend I ordered a Dell XPS m1530, hope it meets up to standard. Heres the order summary:

Any suggestion on what to do once I get it? ETA is 18th but doubt it'll take 22 days ^.^.

The screen you have is great!! Very bright. Much better than the higher resolution WSXGA 1900. Also make sure it is a LG Screen......

    Hi Guys,

    I am planning for a XPS 1530

    One doubt

How much performance difference between the T7250 and T7500? Any idea...
I was thinking whether to go for a better screen or the better processor..A bit confused...

I ordered a similar spec XPS M1530 from Dell UK on Jan 30th.

My payment was initially rejected so I had to finalise it with a sales guy.

    - Order dated 2nd Feb
    - Estimated delivery on or before 21st Feb.
    - Actual Shipment date 17th Feb.
    - Actual delivery was on 19th Feb.

So just over two weeks for mine to be delivered.

Thanks for the information on order tracking, I originally placed an order without the screen upgrade then called a sales guy who changed it by canceling the older order and making a new one.

I only end up paying about $1300 AUD for my laptop :)

You could get yours for about $2150 with the deals from dell aus now and use the epp code

Don't sweat it if you went with 1440x900, you did the right choice. It's brighter (by 20% approx) than the 1680x1050 and considering the polls we had here on the brand of screen you most likely receive per resolution, 1440x900 is the one with the highest chance of getting a good LG screen. No complaints on here from anybody getting a 1440x900 and it's quite hellish to get a good screen with the other resolution.
