Why you guys always do a big deal about montevina?
IT WILL NOT BE A HUGE BOOST IN PERFORMANCE, ONLY BATTERY LIFE, ALSO THE PRICES WILL BE BIGGER.

If you are ok with your m1330 then its ok, you dont need more than that.

Also do you actually know if dell is going to release the montevina ones tomorrow?, are you sure that they will be delivered right away?. I think is too soon to start speaking about montevina dells near of August, more likely September...

not to be a negative nelly or anything but the 8400's have a tendency to overheat, and the heat management of the build design of the m1330 isnt exactly the greatest, so be sure to keep an eye on your temperatures, especially when gaming (assuming you do some gaming)

You did buy it with the coupon Dell Canada has going ($221 off)? If not, go to Redflagdeals.com and plug in Dell in the search part. Act quickly, it is only for the first 500 people!

    many manufactures already have 'leaks'

sony, asus,..... prices may or may not be bigger

besides, i also got the m1330 even though montevina is close, as i needed it by late-august... right after my m1330 shipped on friday, i checked dell epp and they now have a 6-day waiitn gperiod for LEDD 13.3 and a 10-day period for 6-cell battery, est ship date is 8/5...

hopefully dell will give me the refresh if my m1330 craps out 3 years into my warranty

    You know what is expensive???

Paying 3000 USD for that same configuration in Mexico without any kind of event or promotion ever. (Im not kidding)

Thats why I bought mine in the US...

Seriousy guys you dont even know how lucky you are by getting those prices, I was like HELL!!!!!! I cant even afford a "midrange computer" here and by paying the same price in the US, Canada or even Europe I would get a "decent" or even premium laptop...

Thats why there are lots of complains to Dell and HP here in Mexico, they get the older systems and sell them here at crazy price tags. THE WARRANTIES ARENT EVEN VALID HERE, AND IF YOU GET A WARRANTY THEY IGNORE THAT.

But ya know thanks to many guys here and Dell US I made my move ;)

oh wow, that's prolly why it dosent let you export them to other contries
so that they can charge crazy prices arround the world XD

when i bought the laptop today it asked me if i was going to export it
