I bought it from the outlet and it came today. I have a concern about the screen though. At the top there is a section that I can push in and it will move a bit. Is it supposed to be all solid up there? Could dust go in from there? I hope not I don't want to deal with returning it.
EDIT: WOW there is ZERO crapware on this computer! Does the outlet format computers by hand or what?
EDIT 2: It seems Windows 7 7077 x64 is working fine. It can switch graphics modes and come in and out of sleep just fine.
EDIT 3: It froze when switching graphics mode. I am just going to disable Hybrid SLI on balanced mode so that it only works on high performance mode. That way it will never freeze when I am not at home and about to play a game.
EDIT 4: Left the computer alone for a bit and came back to a black screen. I will just use Vista until 7 works better.

I have the same issue with the top of the screen.
I am also impressed with the lack of crapware, however I was having issues with crashing so I reinstalled vista anyway, it works a lot better now. -
My pre-installed Vista is working perfectly! Is it only the outlet ones that have no crapware or do the new ones also have no crapware?

I think they all have very little crapware. IIRC my Vostro from 2 years ago also had very little crapware.
However, I'm one of those people who think 1 piece of useless software is 1 piece too many. I prefer a clean install... why can't they just give me a drivers-only install? (Well that, and I have my own partitioning preferences). -
Commander Wolf can i haz broadwell?
The Outlet machines should be configured in the same manner as their new counterparts. Even if the factory image is relatively clean, I'd second xScorp1on and do a clean install. You never know what ugly mess is hiding under the exterior of even the cleanest factory image.
Just got my Studio XPS 13!
