(Certified Refurbished)
Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T8300 (2.4GHz/800Mhz FSB, 3MB Cache)
4 GB DDR2 SDRAM 667MHz (2 DIMMs)
320 GB SATA Hard Drive (5400 RPM)
15.4 WUXGA Laptop Screen Display with TrueLife
256MB NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT
9 Cell Battery
$1,119
I added a year of Complete Care for $119, which brings the subtotal to $1238
But I'm experiencing some light buyer's remorse, after looking more at the EPP 4 year Warranty/Complete Care deal and hearing about the upcoming Montevina/Centrino2 as well as the nVidia problems.
But I dunno, what do you guys think overall? My budget max is around 1200 and I won't be playing too many games. Did I get away with an alright deal? Or should I go through the trouble of cancelling and getting something else?
By the way, this morning I saw a system with the exact same specs and price, but with a 7200 RPM instead. It was gone when I checked again later the afternoon. Darn.

Um Ya to put is bluntly. Mine cost 1400 and I have about the same as you.
And to put it bluntly as a whole the consumers that know enough about computers use this site and they will picky, its also important to realize that there are lemons in every product. Every once in a while people will get a bad one and it sucks so they find sites to complain about it. Overall they are amazing computers. Nvidia has problems but it is not Dell's problem. The closest graphics card to it price wise is the ATI radeon 3650 and the 8600mGT out performs it by 10%. So Kick back and enjoy. Also being certified refurbished those issues people talk about won't exist.

Sounds like a good deal. I got mine for $1068 inc shipping, but I was on the outlet site for a couple of days waiting to get the specs I wanted at the price that I wanted (<$1100). Best time to look is between 10AM-1PM. People start taking them around lunchtime(noon). You can put a couple in your basket at a time which gives you an extra 15 minutes to decide.
Just ordered a M1530 from the Outlet
