nice, can't wait to get those 8800s in my m1730.
How much did that configuration cost you? -
No kitchen sink?!
-
you should have waited for the m17x it would have been cheaper
i bet that cost a bunch
-
Yeah it was 3,326.99 EUR or 4,953.60 USD.
I even had around 200$ discount on top of the already 800$ thats availible until the 13th of february by calling in and asking for a better price. -
But, I still think this configuration will be more expensive (in Europe!) in the M17X (which I originally wanted but can't be bothered waiting for it to come to Europe).
-
Alienware is much more expensive than Dell, you made the right choice to purchase the m1730, it is a beast... well at least yours is, with the 8800GTX SLI lol

Hi Poteen ,I'm european guy and like you I ordered a xps 1730 with dual 8800.Can you tell me your estimated ship day?I live in Italy and I have some problem with payement.
Thank you! -
Im asuming you got it in the states, altought the rate exchange is right, for us, europenas, it would be 4953 euros or so... because for 3326 you only get t7500 120gb 2gb ram... XD
-
Nope, I bought it in Denmark and the expected delivery date is the 27th of February
-
Man...I wish I could afford one, i'm imagining the possibilities, I guarantee Crysis close to Very High.
