hello there, i just purchased this laptop off ebay. just looking into some thoughts as to what i should watch out for. are there any issues related to this laptop?

    heres my specs:
    PM 2.13ghz 533mhz
    2g RAM
    60G 7200 RPM HD
    7800GTX

cosmetically it looks good. im in the process of reinstalling XP pro, and have yet to test any games on it.

any insight would be appreciated! thanks!

    Good deal for $500. Congrats.

It's definitely an eye-catcher. Doesn't matter whether I have mine out at work, or home when company's over, it's always the same: "What the hell? That's a crazy laptop. What is that thing?".

    Lol

    its an ok deal..

an inspiron e1705 with a 7900gs (which can be flashed, and heavily overclocked).. would be better.. and it would be at least a core dou maybe core 2 duo, instead of a pentium-m

ivel seen them for around $500 aswell.

the m170 looks better, but that e1705 with 7900gs was excellent at the time for price/performance
