    Hi all,

I've just received my awesome looking 1530. It was one I got from the Outlet Store. Its pretty much as new. I can't see anything wrong with the laptop itself! I was worried the screen would be grainy but alas we're fine. One thing that is slightly bugging me is that there weren't any accessories with it. I did get a screen cleaning cloth but other then that there's no headphones/leather binder/soft cover. Is this something doesn't come with a refurbished model or is it worth having a word?

It seems to be a bit hit-and-miss.

I have read of many people who have missed out on the accessories with a refurb, then again many others seem to get them.

Did you get the travel remote?

I just ordered my m1530 from the outlet on Monday, I got an awesome deal (300 euro saving :) )

    2.4ghz T8300
    4gigs 667mhz
    320gig HDD
    9 Cell battery
    8600m GT
    1680*1050 screen
    etc

If I dont get the remote I will be pissed, I don't mind the other stuff being missing... Actually, If the remote is missing I will complain because its basically PART of the notebook and not an necessarily an accessory.... There will just be an empty hole in the side?

If you don't I'll trade you one of mine. I got two!! lol

Having some time to think about at what price I got it at, I'm just content that its all working awesomely! I do need a sleeve for it though. Is the offical dell sleeve anygood? the official one is on ebay for £13 or I can call them up and try talking them into sending me one. Is it good or shall just get the Belkin one?

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Belkin-15-4...1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1212066981&sr=8-1

Its looks better but is it better for protection? Anyone got any experience?

I ordered a new XPS about the time they first came out and was underwhelmed by the screen and the palmrest always tingled my hand and fingers when touched (this was before Dell shipped the M1530s with 3-prong cords). It came with a bunch of neat accessories. Though because of the issues, I returned the notebook and stuck with my trusty 1520. However, I decided to give it another try recently with an order of a refurbished M1530 from the Outlet earlier this week, which will be delivered here tomorrow.

    Midnight Blue
    T8300
    4GB RAM
    250GB HDD 7200RPM
    nVidia 8600M GT
WXGA+ LED Screen (the only M1530 LED screen I've seen at the outlet)
    and Bluethooth mouse =)

I'm crossing my fingers that the cool stuff will come with the refurbished unit.

That Belkin one looks nice, seems a bit more padded than my friends official one.

Want to sell me a remote if I don't get one? Or I can trade you some magic beans! :D

I got 2 set creative earburg (it should be only one)
I think that was a mistake, because i got a earburg inside my XPs driver cd book and another 1 set in box, put inside the smal parts box

then 1 mini dial up modem, 1 remote control, 1 XPS laptop bag,

    thats all i got..
