When I looked at the pictures, I feel it ugly
But when I actually touch it, I like it a lot.I wish it has an option with all black finished. I love dell use some good plastic to cover the rest of case, unlike, Acer,HP, lenovo, all of their laptops have those cheap feeling plastic used( I don't know what they call)

I have heard lots of u say the screen is poor, but I feel like it's not bad.
After I owned Bestbuy Samsung QX410, I knew what is the cheapest and most poor screen on the planet.
I also returned Asus N43 due to the screen isn't decent enough to play video game, kinda washed out.
Their B&O speaker is a joke compared to this one :p

The ODD runs super loud, can they ever make a quiet ODD?

My ODD has only been really loud with one disc. Nothing can be as bad as those 52x CD drives I used to have on my desktops. The computer would shake. :D

Nope you can't calm down the fan as it's not controllable. What bios do you have? What are your temps like?

What games do you play that load of the disc? It's 2011 for crying out loud. I rarely even use the drive to install stuff, let alone something that requires a disc in the drive (unless it's a movie).

LOL, I said the ODD runs loud doesn't mean I use it in order to play games,

I still like to use discs to install games instead of spending 10hrs to download

I had to use the disc for Civ IV. Yea, I hate it when you have to put the disc in to play.
