    Well, after asking you guys all my annoying questions, I have finally decided to go ahead and buy the M1530.

    I have looked at so many other laptops (acer, sony, HP) and I just cannot find anything as well kitted out as the M1530 for the same price. It also looks a lot nicer than the other laptops I have seen.

    I am naturally a bit concerned about the 8600GT, but for every person raging about the overheating issue, there are many more praising the system.

    I have spoken to dell and they have sent me an e-mail confirming the additional 12 month warranty on the GPU, so that will give me 2 years worth of cover (confirmed in writing).

    Anyway, back on topic, I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that offered their opinions and advice.
