    Keypad & Touchpad doesn't works During XP installation

    Here is the Big Problem Guys I was installing Win XP(Used nLite to load the driver in Win XP bootable) but during installation Keypad and Touchpad both were not working I inserted the driver of keypad and touchpad in my XP installation CD useing nlite but all in vein, I do not want to buy a external USB keyboard only for Installing XP suggest me guys if there any another option do u have

    That is odd. I've never had that and I slip discs very often for my Asus.

    What Laptop you have ? do you have proper XP drivers ??

    I am using Dell XPS M1530 and I download the XP driver as provided here

    This happened to me, yesterday. My mouse wouldn't move. So I restarted my computer, it restarted the instaltion and it worked. I still don't know, why it didn't work that first time. Btw, I'm using a Dell XPS M1530. if that helps
