Ordered a WSXGA+ screen for my XPS before they went off market, anyway, I was wondering if it is possible to know what kind of screen I am getting based on the order code (item number) on my invoice.

    So does this:

320-6692 15.4 inch Wide Screen WSXGA+ TrueLife LCD with Camera for XPS M1530

indicate anything about whether it will be LG or Samsung based on the order code? Or do all WSXGA's have the same order code and its just luck of the draw. Just curious.

Once your laptop has shipped contact dell and get your service tag. Then log on to your dell account and go to 'My Systems & Peripherals'. Add your service tag an you will be able to see all components built in your laptop.

If you request an invoice via .pdf, it will have a service tag number.
Go to product support website and there should be a link where u enter the number.
