Just wondering about the Aero Score. I got a 5.4 with the new Nvidia drivers, but I have a feeling that it only sees the Intel chip for that score.

The rest are 6 and higher. With the top at at like 7.1 or something with the Processor.

    From what I have heard:
Aero score = Intel (since nVIDIA isn't supposed to be enabled when you are doing nothing)
    Gaming score = nVIDIA

Mine scores 6.6 for both graphics and gaming graphics. No change after installing the latest drivers from Dell. I haven't messed with any nVidia-direct supplied drivers.

The graphics and gaming are about that on mine as well. I had figures the Aero score es because of optimus.

We must be talking about different things then. I don't get a third score for Aero, only Graphics: Desktop performance for Windows Aero and Gaming Graphics: 3D business and gaming graphics performance. I thought it was the first one that you were referring to.

WEI isn't not accurate nor is it consistent. Also realize it's an Experience index not a benchmark. ;)

Mine used to get 4.9 for aero and 6.7 for gaming graphics but after the intel hd 3000 update it dropped to 4.8. Ive tried setting the 540M as the default graphics card but it still scores 4.8. Is there any way to fix this?

When I first set up my computer, it gave a 6.6 for both Graphics and Gaming Graphics. When I ran it again after updating all the drivers, it gave a 5.9 for Graphics and 6.7 for Gamining Graphics.

Bottom line is 1) that WEI didn't have Optimus-type systems in mind when it was designed. In fact, most problems that crop up with optimus are because everything expects a single GPU. And 2) as the others have pointed out, don't worry about the specific numbers the score throws out.

It isn't so much meant to compare you to other people, but to give you a general idea of how good your hardware is and which pieces are likely bottlenecking the system's performance.
