    Hey Everyone.

I have the L401X laptop and have just lost my sound completely. I used it one night to run a CD for my daughter (plays ambient sounds) overnight and when I came in the morning there was no sound coming from the speakers. I checked around and the sound is not muted and there are no hardware problems being reported in the system hardware. Any other fixes for this?

The only thing I noticed is when clicking on the touch key for Maxx sound it comes up with a notice "no audio driver installed". When trying to run the microsoft fixit tool for audio, it will not run and the program shuts down.

Anything else I can try? Anyone have the best way to download and reinstall drivers for this? The drivers look to be fairly generic MS drivers.
