    Hi everyone,

I´ve been having some random freezes and I haven't found out the issue. The first time happened at first boot up, I thought I had a lemon. Turned the power off and up again and everything went smoothly from there. The following 3 days everything was ok, until the fourth when it froze again while browsing. I did a clean win 7 install to see if things worked alright but it has been the same so far.

Things I tried: all updated drivers, normal temps, runs without problem stressing programs (games, autocad etc). I don't know what could bee the issue, mostly happens first minutes after logging in or coming back from sleep. any ideas?

I have completecare but I don't want to spend a week or more without my laptop, any help would be apreciated. Thanks

PD: sorry for my english (not first language).

Have you checked your temperatures? Also scan your computer with Malwarebytes, possibly viral. Bad stick of RAM/or defective HDD can cause those issues also.

    I'm about to run a system's diagnostic.

Cannot be viral since it happened upon first boot up.

    Ty

Built in diagnostics tool didn't find anything funny. Any recommendations? Some utility to make an in depth diagnostic of the hdd?

I'm only using windows firewall, but i'll apply the fix anyway. Can't get worse.

Repped both of you by the way ty.

    UPDATE

Fix didn't work, this time it froze during a video playback from a dvd, no error message just froze and sound got stuck with a loud bip noise. Start doubting my processor?
