Model Dell XPS-L501x, B+RG LED type display.
Help me open the laptop to replace thermal paste, i have seen many dis assembly videos but all of them open the laptop entirely and the last part is always the motherboard and heat sink assembly. Can i just open bottom casing and access CPU heat sink assembly.

Don't want to take to service center, they might scratch my display or mishandle my precious laptop.
    Any help appreciated.

Many laptops require more disassembly than just the back panel to get to the heatsink, I wouldn't be surprised if it were the case for your XPS, but definitely check the manual.
