L501x FHD Cable FOUND for screen swap - Sign-up here!

To all those who are looking for the Full-HD cable so they can upgrade their L501x screen to full-hd, please post to this thread. I have sourced a supplier but need to know how many interested parties there are.

Basically, this cable is no longer produced, unless you can get it off Dell (and in UK, this will cost £70) but if enough people sign-up, we can get it made for less than half-this each.

If people also want the AUO B156HW01 V4 screen to go with it, I can also help out here.

So....wherever you are in the world....who needs some help with this???

I ordered the cable direct from dell USA for $11+shipping, and received it in two days. So, no affense to your help, but I want people in the USA to be aware that ordering from dell is quick and cheap. Thanks for trying to help out others in different countries.

Yes sorry, this thread was more for the European/ROW members who can't get hold of the cable or are being asked to pay a ridiculous amount from Dell for the privilege.

I know you guys in the US can get it for peanuts....but we are suffering from charges of £70 ($114) for the same cable from Dell which is just ridiculous.

I'm in touch with a supplier in Taiwan who can get it to us for around $55, which is more than you guys pay but a LOT less than what Dell are trying to screw us for!!!
