How can I "force" WEI to use the GT 525M when calculating the Graphics/Gaming score?
Thanks.

Right click desktop, Nvidia, manage 3D settings/global settings
-
what program would you make it manage?
-
just a follow up to my question. i went into the nvidia control panel under manage 3d settings and changed the global settings to high performence Nvidia graphics and reran the WEI. im still getting a 5.9 which i dont think is right considering my 3 year old inspiron 1420 with a geforce 8400gs gets a 5.5

If you have a mechanical drive in the machine the highest WEI is gonna be 5.9. I'm assuming you're talking about the overall score. The only way a mechcanical drive setup could possibly be higher is with some exotic RAID setup with very, very fast drives.

i have windows 7 on a ssd and my scores are 7.5, 7.5, 5.9, 6.6, 6.8
i have the l502x with the 2720QM and GT540m. Do those scores seem alright? -
True, and even then it may not go above 5.9. I had a set of WD Black 7200RPM drives in a raid 0 setup (200MBps read/ 200MBps write) in my custom overclocked $3K gaming rig, and WEI still gave them a 5.9. I think seek times and randoms play an important role in determining the HDD score.

Specs are in Sig. Scores are below. Stock clocks on GPU:
CPU: 7.5
RAM: 7.6
Graphics: 6.6
Gaming Graphics: 6.6
Hard Drive: 7.9 -
I have a 64gb kingston ssd with my original 640gb hdd and my gaming graphics score is 6.6 also but my regular graphics score is only 5.9. im still confused haha. sorry if im stupid

2720qm has a faster integrated graphic
-
i have the same 2720QM. i have the windows 7 os on my ssd. its really not that big of a deal, im just wondering why my score is lower than his when we have the same parts
-
Same problem. I saw another friends xps 15 with a base score of 6.7
And that seemed about right. -
I had a WEI score of 6.7 for both desktop and gaming graphics. After updating the nvidia driver, and rerunning the WEI I had 5.7 desktop and 6.7 gaming. I figured they had the WEI tied to the nvidia card for both with the driver that came in the system. I have to admit I was a bit bummed at the 5.7 desktop performance, even though the WEI doesn't mean much in the big scheme of things.
L502X uses integrated graphics for WEI score???
