Hi all. I'm having a slight issue with my L502x and feel a bit silly posting, but I hope someone can help me out.

I had a service tech switch out my FHD screen [stuck pixels] a few days ago. Since then, my laptop has been acting strange. Icons in the system tray disappear [no volume icon - fixed], and now when adjusting screen brightness or volume through the function keys, there is no on-screen feedback. The icon with the volume and brightness bars do not appear. The functions work as usual, though.

Does anyone know how to get the on-screen bars back?

    Thanks!

more specifically, the dell quickset application is what you need.
