Updated intel microcode huh, so there are some new chips supported? I wonder which ones.
-
thanks for the heads up... would have missed it.
Without any of the problems this fixes, would you guys recommend flashing the bios or just skipping this update? -
Microcode is important. Do the update.
-
I updated to A05 and started experiencing lockups and system freeze. No warning just hard locks... Weird... Flashed back to A04 and seems to be ok so far will see what happens later...

I'd say try it and let us know if you experience lockups. It can be fashed bak to A04 be sure you have A04...
-
essence25: Try re-downloading A05 and re-flashing... it could be some error occurred causing the lockups. What is your hardware configuration?

Flashed to A05 and no problems for me.
-
I have no problems with A05. Maybe something gone wrong when you are flashing. Try to flash again. If still exsist go back to A04, i didn't see any difference. I didn't have the fan issue.
-
No problems for me, either.
-
Works pretty well, no problems on A05. Cheers
