    L701x second hard drive caddy

    Got an L701x but it only came with 1 hard drive caddy.

    Does anybody know what the part number is for the 2nd drive caddy kit or where I can get one from?

    I tried emailing Dell CS but no reply.

    Call them. They have to provide one as installing a second Hard Drive is an advertised option of this machine. Be polite but firm if they try to sell it to you. I do not think they should give much of a problem to send it but you never know.

    An update for anybodyelse in the same position.....

    I phoned Dell and they sent me the caddy and 2 sets of screws by next day courier. Thanks Dell ;-)

    The part number for the caddy appears to be:- CNW3X

    The screws required are 4 of M2x3 to fix the caddy to the chassis and 4 of M3x3 to fix the caddy to the hard drive.
