    L702X DVD Optical Drive Benchmarking

    The DVD optical drive in my L702X appears to be reading discs painfully slow. Does anyone know of some software available to benchmark the optical drive read speeds? Also if anyone could post their speeds for comparison I would be most appreciative.

    My optical drive is the HL-DT-STDVD+/-RW GT32N by the way.

    Edit: Run Performance Test a couple of times on the optical drive and was getting read speeds of between 3.8 MB/sec and 4 MB/sec. Is this the norm for this optical drive?
