    cool as a cucumber here :cool: my 702x gets warm when playing games, not hot. Other than that, it's pretty cool

    I've had mine on for just over 2 hours this evening just browsing websites and using Word and average temps are as follows

    Motherboard - 54
    4 x i7 Cores - 55
    HDD - 38
    GPU - 48

    all in degrees C

    Fan is always on but is mainly on the very quiet slow spin. You get the occasional blast of hot air being expelled which is a bit louder, however I'd prefer the heat to be out, rather than in :eek:

    I recall playing GTA4 for an hour or so produced a temp for the GPU of around 68 C. I could do some more benchmarking if you like but there are quite a few people who have already done this. Have a look at the GT555M overclock thread, there are some in there :D

    If I play Portal 2 for a while the laptop gets pretty damn hot. I keep forgetting to run SIW to check GPU/CPU temps.
