Well after my motherboard was faulty and and engineer came to replace it i told him to apply some of my AS 5 paste.
He applied 1 thick line accross the cpu and one over the gpu.

First days laptop temperature where around 50c-55c with little browsing.
Now it seams it drops around 45 - 55c whit just a little browsing.

Is this normal or the thermal paste was wrongly applied?

That sounds normal. Those are good temps.

AS 5 takes like 200 hours to burn in, it will likely drop a little bit over time, we are talking maybe 2-3 C. Your idle temps are spot on with what mine are, I get 45-50 doing nothing, and upwards of 55 just browsing without flash stuff running.
