    Hello

What cable and adapter do I need to connect my xps 17 to a 27" 2560x1440 monitor, the model is a Hazro HZ27WC, it uses the same panel as the 27" iMac Apple Home Cinema Displays.

I assume I will need to use the Display Port on the Laptop, but the monitor only has DVI-D Dual Link port, Will I need a mini display port to dvi adapter, then dvi cable? or can I use a mini display port adapter with hdmi then hdmi to dvi-d adapter (which I already have along with hdmi leads)

    Many thanks!

P.S I don't want to use the HDMI output as it doesn't work for what I want it for.
