Only a couple of issues, but here goes. Haven't been able to find them elsewhere on the threads.

    1) Cannot seem to get to the Nividia control panel. I have downloaded the drivers twice. I also grabbed the Nividia optimus tool, and have yet to get my GT 555 3GB to even turn on. I may be under estimating the intel graphics abilities, but I'd like to be able to see the difference. What is a tool to be able to test the GPU performance? I only get the 6.9 on the windows experience, but I assume that is just the intel graphics since I can't get the gpu to turn on.

    2) Turning off indexing and pagefile. I can't seem to do this, which as I understand is recomended with an SSD. I am still trying to optimize windows 7 for the SSD, so any other links or recomendations would help.

    3) Having trouble reassigning Documents, Music and Pictures to my secondary HDD. Do you have to have a file set up first? or does it just move the folder to the HDD?

Ok. But what can I do to get the thing to turn on? It doesn't ever register on the Nvidia optimus monitor. And I still can't get to the control panel.

The nVidia control panel installs with the drivers, right? Do you not know how to launch the control panel, or does nothing happen when you launch it?

I had dell tech support do it. It wouldn't install correctly from the website, even though it ran through the setup. It took him a bit to get it working too, he had to disable something first and uninstall and reinstall the driver. Wish I could give you more info on the solution, but they fixed it whatever it was.

Create a New Folder called "Documents" on your D: drive. Then in explorer under Libraries right click on the Documents and choose properties.

Click "Include a Folder" and choose the folder you created on the D: drive, then choose "Set Save Location".

You can remove the old locations if you like.

Do the same for Music, Pictures, Video.
