    Hi All

Trying to setup my l702x to use the 3d glasses but can`t get them to work.
I have the latest nvidia drivers 270.51 and have made sure the stereoscopic 3d is enable. It runs through a setup program and asks me to turn on the glasses which I have done. But on the test screen there isnt any difference, ie its not 3d.
I`m noticing the 3d light/emitter under the dell logo on the screen doesnt illuminate. Should this be the case when in 3d mode?

i`m running in 1920x1080 and tried 60hz and 120hz modes.

    Thanks

Yes the emitter light on the screen must be on (activated) for 3D to work. When you do the test screen and look at it without glasses does it look normal or does it look double offset like 3D will normally look? Did you click the enable 3D on the start menu under nVidia?

thanks yes it looks normal. like i`m looking the screen through sunglasses.
I`ve tried enabling it and also ctrl+T i think it is to enable.

Can you tell me if the IR emitter or what looks like an led next to it illuminates when its functioning, with or without the glasses on? As mine never comes on.
Trying to work out if its the laptop or the glasses thats at fault

For example I never see this green light illuminated. Does it come on regardless of the glasses are on or off?

The light comes on whenever nVidia activates 3d whether there are glasses present or not.

What I asked before was when you look at the 3D test WITHOUT glasses does it look like normal or does it have the double image look you normally see when you look at 3D content without glasses?

It could be a hardware problem or a problem with nVidia SW. Maybe try to uninstall all nVidia software and reinstall with the latest version available.

yes it looks the same with or without the glasses no double image just a red blue shift. I`m on the phone to dell and theyre saying the light only comes on when it pairs with some glasses.
