So I have to decide between getting the LED with a T8300 or a normal LCD with the T9300. I am using the system for photoshop, word processing, maybe some games but not heavy gaming use. I am wondering if the cache difference will be extremely noticable. I am getting the 4GB RAM.

    What do you guys think?

    LED + T8300 over T9300 + LCD.

drop the 4 gig to 2 gig and then get both the led and the t9300 and upgrade the ram when you get more money

Agreed. ....And if you're ordering Vista/32, I would only get 3GB.

You could do what Ahmedatry said. Or you could just go LED.

I asked myself the same question when ordering mine, but from what I have read on the forums, the T9300 isn't that much of an improvement over the T8300. I would go with the LED.

I got m1330 with LED and it's nice and slim. I ordered m1530 with T9300 and LED. If you cannot afford both, I recommend going with LED.

T9300 is unnecessary in my opinion because you won't be doing heavy gaming as you mentioned.
when i ordered my m1330 i chose to go with the T7250, LED, 4GB of RAM, 8400m GS, and 320 GB of hard drive. I do admit 4GB of RAM is unnecessary, so I would recommend getting only 3GB of RAM.
with this laptop, I am able to play World of Warcraft and Guild Wars without a problem at mid-max settings.

I would get the LED screen. You could also save a bit if you bought the RAM yourself and installed it.

it depends what type of gaming. If it is online gaming one might need the intel wireless n card because lag can be an issue with online games.

but if someone is getting the m1330, i don't see the point in getting the t9300 because the 8400m GS isn't meant for the new, depending games.

so i would suggest getting LED and n card.

Thanks everyone. I was only approved for a $1333 purchase so I struggled with options. The best price I got was through the employee program. I couldn't opt for 3G of RAM or I would have done that to save $. I got the LED, T8300, 4G RAM for about $1300. The T9300 with the LCD would have been about the same price. I couldn't get approved for the $1450+ for both options, so I went with the T8300+LED from reading around on the forums.

    Damn...I wish I hadn't waited. With the old 25% coupon I could've gotten T9300, LED, and N wireless for $1300. Oh well...

u wouldn't have gotten that deal for $1300... 25% coupon doesnt work for employee section, and i believe it sometimes replaces the "$499 off for this system" discount that u get for home&office
