I've ordered a M1530 with the LED screen. I have some experience with LED panels and I have mixed feelings.

Some like the MBP and MB Air have what seem like excellent black levels.

Others like the Thinkpad X300 have the brightness, but incredibly poor black levels.

This is hard information to find, since panel makers often don't publish black levels; you get the contrast ratio and max brightness and have to guess the actual black levels from those tweaked numbers.

For those with experience with some other LED screens, where does the XPS 15.4" fall in terms of black level?
